With the celebration of Easter, the Church enters the Easter Season, a period of fifty days in which we are invited to deepen our experience of Christ’s Resurrection. More than a single feast day, it is an extended time of joy, renewal, and hope.
The Easter Season reminds us that the Resurrection is not only an event of the past, but a living reality that continues to transform the world and our lives.
The new life that continues
The Resurrection of Jesus inaugurates a new time. Life conquers death, light overcomes darkness, and hope becomes stronger than any suffering.
During the Easter Season, we are invited to recognize the signs of this new life in daily life. God continues to act, renewing hearts, restoring stories, and opening paths where there once seemed to be no way.
An invitation to interior transformation
To live the Easter Season is to allow the Resurrection to take place within us. It is to welcome the grace of God that heals, reconciles, and renews.
This journey involves concrete choices: letting go of what prevents us from growing, opening ourselves to forgiveness, strengthening trust, and cultivating attitudes of love.
The new life that Christ offers is not distant, it becomes real when we allow ourselves to be transformed by Him.
Witnesses of hope
The Easter Season calls us to be witnesses of the Resurrection, not only with words, but with our lives.
Every act of care, every gesture of reconciliation, every word of hope becomes a sign that Christ is alive and present among us.
To be Easter witnesses is to bring light where there is darkness, hope where there is discouragement, and love where there is indifference.
